Support us Volunteering Volunteer for us Women's Film Club Volunteer What You'll Do Volunteers work together to set up the screening, communicate with venue staff, research films and ensure that the venue is accessible to all our members Facilitate the engagement of all members to a level they are comfortable with- especially new members or those with particular needs Provide a “Warm Welcome” to members, especially new members or those with particular needs Meeting and greeting members. Welcoming new members, introducing them to other people and ensuring they feel welcome and helping them to integrate. Sitting with the members and being part of the social group, joining the conversation and ensuring new members feel comfortable. Helping clear away at the end of the event. To cover in the lead volunteer’s absence Personal qualities most suited to the role: Volunteers will ideally be sociable people who are able to encourage good group dynamics and be mindful of the social needs of sometimes vulnerable individual members We welcome applications from people who identify as women, people who are non-binary and other assigned female at birth (AFAB) people.
