Hours: 21 per week (Permanent)

Salary: Scale 5 Scale Points 18-20 (£28,752 to £29,796 pa inc LW pro rata)

We are looking for a Research and Policy Officer who will scope, collate and store relevant research and policy, identify current knowledge gaps and support the Training and Policy Manager in undertaking further research into the needs of older LGBT+ people in order to influence change.

 You will have…

  • An up to date understanding of diversity and inclusion as evidenced by the Equality Act
  • An understanding of the diversity and needs of older LGBT+ people including marginalised groups within the community
  • Up to date knowledge of best practice in Research and Policy
  • Excellent communication skills – written, presentation and people skills – across a wide range of audiences.
