Our popular Friday Coffee and Cake Social is starting Face to Face meetings again and we urgently need more volunteer support. The club is well attended by a good mix of current ODL members from the LGBTQ+ communities and can get very busy. You would be working alongside the experienced volunteer who currently supports the group.

We have a brilliant new choir director and a new central London venue with an ambition to launch in October, initially monthly. Our new choir director runs vocal workshops for theatre companies and choirs, including BBC Worldwide Staff. There will be no auditions to join. The choir will first and foremost be about having fun and welcoming all colours of the LGBTQ+ rainbow.
If you have an interest in choirs, this an ideal group to volunteer with.
This popular once-a-month Sunday event provides a great home-cooked lunch for members with a film and a chat afterwards and needs some extra volunteer support to help make Sunday lunch fun and enjoyable for members. The club is well attended by a good mix of current ODL members from the LGBTQ+ communities and can get very busy. You would be working alongside the experienced volunteers who currently cook and/or support the group.

The Walk and Talk group is a new service which began in July 2021. Walk and Talks take place in North and South London – approximately two per month in both localities and are a gentle amble with friendly conversation for ODL members. Walk and Talks are guided by the respective lead volunteers who select suitable routes and provide some basic information about the chosen areas.
This is an ideal volunteering opportunity for those who enjoy the outdoors and meeting new people.
