There are more than 100,000 older Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and / or Transgender people living in London. Many are socially isolated, cut off from family and friends and not in contact with appropriate services.
As an organisation responsible for raising our own funds, we need your financial support to help us in continuing our work with older LGBT people in London.

There are a number of ways you can donate to us.
- In whatever way you are able to donate to us, please make your payment payable to Age UK Camden.
- If either a cheque, standing order or bank transfer is used, donors are also requested to let Opening Doors London know about the donation.
- All monies are donated via Age UK Camden, our host organisation, which ‘tracks’ donations and ensure they are allocated to the correct project.
- Donations to Opening Door London are allocated to the Opening Doors London project.

Regular donations (Standing Orders) and cheques
You can donate directly to us by downloading and completing the standing order form which should then be returned to us using the contact details below. Please note that any cheques should be made out to Age UK Camden. Monies raised will be allocated to Opening Doors London. A regular donation (however small) by standing order allows us to be flexible and spend the money where it is most needed, when we need it, e.g. the weekly lunch club, regular film nights or the befriending service. A Gift Aid declaration is included on the form.
Events
In addition to Opening Doors London own fundraising events, we encourage people to hold their own events to raise money for us. In the past we’ve received generous donations from events as diverse as pub quizzes, raffles, and coffee mornings. How about arranging a ‘Come Dine with Me’ event and charging participants?
